2020 : back at the Ontario Science Centre 

 

Monster Dash is a family friendly event that takes place in Leaside and is now Canada's largest fitness-themed Halloween Event.  Miles' celebrates the 9th Year Anniversary in 2020, and we've now created a real "monster" of an event.  Monster Dash Toronto consists of a Spooky Mile for young kids and an accurately measured 5km and 10km run/walk. The 5km and 10km will be chip timed for prizing and posting results!   NEW this year, we'll see!   AND try the new Tough Pumpkin Challenge!

Never fear Monsters, costumes are not mandatory; however, we do encourage them as additional prizes will be  awarded to best costume, scariest costume, best group/team costume and more! Every runner is awarded a Finisher’s Medal, in 2017, 2018 and 2019 it was the best in Canada!  The coffin theme will be back and yes there were real coffins on site at the after party!

KIDS SPOOKY MILE :

The Spooky Mile is restricted to participants who are 12 and under. It’s a fun run, inclusive of a clock for kids to see their time. Spooky Mile participants receive a finisher’s ribbon and goodie bag. The best part is the surprise candy stations along the way so don’t forget to bring your trick or treat bag!

Miles the Monster (below, right) is an original GTR creation. Rumour has it he’s looking to scare runners in additional markets across the country, so watch out!
